I absolutely love these things. They are the car that made me fall in love with old BMWs because my dad had a blue '72 when I was little. I almost bought one last year in the same blue, but found some rust that I just couldn't look past. This one has a quick-revving 3.5 with twin Weber 38's, and a 5-speed. Not to mention Alpina wheels (giggity). Pretty much exactly as I'd have one. Wonderful car.

I like these much better than the E30's or E36's. It's just so clean and simple, almost Corvairesque.

No love for the CSL airdam, huh? I love it. Like, love it.

not on an E3, at least without adornment. Looks like shiot all white. At least give me this detail

I agree white it not the best choice without M colors. That's why mine would be blue. This is the exact car I almost bought, randomly on Google images:

that was the color of my 3.0s (except I had the rotary alloys). Fuck all over again

looks like a motorsport front bumper, and I LOVE IT!

It drove so nice. But, it had scary holes in the frame up front, and rust blooming under the trim so I passed at $4k. I've been looking for one for awhile now. I just got a Fairlane to cruise, but will always look for a good Bav.

You and me both. I was just defending its honor to our friend 505 ;)

wait, 4K? What in the fuck?!? I paid 1200 for mine and it just had some typical rust on the fender tops. That was it. Also 14 years ago...

Good ones don't come for less than 5 anymore out here unless you get lucky. That car was $2500 at best to me, but I guess somebody thought it was worth it.

Gives it that "unliveried race car" look, which I think is the TITS

damn, yeah I should have grabbed all the E3's I almost bought and saved them. DAMMIT

E12s are next, do it now!

shut it. I have a bronze 530i with a 535i motor in it sitting at a garage close to here. Friend gave it to me telling me all the things that were wrong and I could pick it up. Never did. Bronze had faded to the color of a brand new penny, and no rust. I should check in. This color

Deux eet. Deux eet nao. I seriously have any part you could possibly need leftover from the monster E12 we're building for a guy.

Yeah. It's a good thing I'm standing behind a counter.

Sploosh
Same color as my car. Now, as for that 5 speed swap . . . . . . .

Very nice. Reminds me of my old car.
EDIT: I actually like a front bumper on an E3. Yes, the air dam actually works since the front end gets spooky-light at anything over 110 mph.
This spoiler was from... I don't remember. It was rubber, so maybe an E21 320iS?

Wow, that is lovely. I like the bumpers too, especially since everyone parks by braille now, but those airdams just look the business.

Sorry, I should clarify. That silver car wasn't mine, but I did have a strong hand in building it. This one was mine (no spoiler).

It is equally lovely!
